Communication
This is a vital part of creating a successful relationship between our service users and carers. It is important that all our decisions take a holistic approach and involves all the individuals that we care for.

This is one of the major characteristics we look for when we choose carers for our service users. Compassion encompasses different values that key to the quality of care that we provide and uphold.

Care is at the core of our philosophy which is valuing the individual choice and dignity for our services users through providing a high standard of care to ensure the individuals that use our services are satisfied.
Courage
We will encourage full autonomy, self-esteem and help make their voices heard through listening to their concerns whilst helping them solve any problems they may have. This helps them develop courageous behaviour and increased sense of independence.Whilst also planning the care with the service users taking into account their wishes and views.
Competence
Our staff are very competent, highly skilled, with years of experience and qualifications. When it comes to carrying out care, we selected our staff for their attitude and empathy. All our staff carry fully enhanced DBS – checks and prior to working with service users they will have a full and comprehensive induction programme.
I can only speak highly of the service Hodman care provided him, during his terminal end of life period. All the staff treated him with dignity and respect. He felt listened to which he valued highly. The staff always arrived on time they were always courteous , kind and patient with him. My brother always looked forward to the staffs support and smiled when they arrived. He said they brought a little sunshine into his day as they’d chat away with him.
